- If you’re wondering what the FAFSA is… it stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It’s a free online application you and your parents will fill out to qualify for federal financial aid (free $$), scholarships (free $$), and work-study programs (jobs on college campuses). It’s used to help you pay for college or a trade school. .
- If you’re planning on attending Shasta College Fall 2024, YOU ARE REQUIRED to submit the FAFSA to receive TWO Years of FREE tuition regardless of income!
- Please note, the 2024-2025 FAFSA won't be available until December, which will push out the deadline date. Once I have specific dates, I will be updating this information.
